This project focused on establishing a strong, consistent brand identity for Poppi reflecting existing guidelines through the creation of a comprehensive brand book, visual storytelling, and investor workshops, enabling the brand to resonate with its audience and thrive in a competitive market.
STORY
Founded by a dynamic husband-and-wife duo, Poppi transforms the traditional soda experience with a healthy twist by combining fruit juice, apple cider vinegar, and inulin prebiotics into a refreshing beverage. With roots in Austin, TX, and a boost from an investment on Shark Tank, Poppi has expanded from a local delight to a nationally recognized brand, loved by celebrities and everyday consumers alike.
CHALLENGE
Poppi, needed to establish a cohesive visual identity and brand narrative that could scale with its growth from a local farmers' market favorite to a national retail sensation. The challenge was to create a comprehensive brand book that defined every aspect of Poppi's visual and written language, ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints. Additionally, Poppi required engaging brand workshops to communicate its unique brand archetype to investors and collaborators.
SOLUTION
To address these needs, I (alongside multiple creative directors) developed a detailed brand book that served as Poppi’s user manual, guiding the application of its visual identity both online and offline. The brand book deck was designed to ensure that all visual elements, from typography to color schemes and imagery, aligned with Poppi's playful yet health-conscious brand ethos. I also designed interactive brand workshops that vividly portrayed Poppi's brand archetype, helping to solidify the brand's story for investors and stakeholders. This included crafting comprehensive brand presentations, marketing collateral, and refining Poppi's visual and written language to create a compelling, unified brand experience.
